This week the students are learning about Typography which is an extremely important part of graphic design. A good Typographer is someone who communicates a point of view with creativity and imagination. The students will learn how to take a basic font and alter it to suite their own individual styles of design.
There are definitely some very talented students in this class. The students are becoming much more confident with using Adobe Illustrator and already some of the students are blowing me away with their creativity and imagination. AWESOME work Hurungaterangi :-)
So far the students have combined shapes, graphics, symbols and type to create their designs (see images below).
