This week the students are learning about Typography which is an extremely important part of graphic design. A good Typographer is someone who communicates a point of view with creativity and imagination. The students will learn how to take a basic font and alter it to suite their own individual styles of design.
The creativity and uniqueness of these designs is AMAZING!!!! I am so impressed with the progress the students have made with using Adobe Illustrator in just a few lessons and look forward to seeing the completed designs.
So far the students have combined shapes, graphics, symbols and type to create their designs (see images below).
