Name Design: Lesson 3 - Typography

WALT: Explore how Typography impacts on effective graphic designs.

This week the students are learning about Typography which is an extremely important part of graphic design. A good Typographer is someone who communicates a point of view with creativity and imagination. The students will learn how to take a basic font and alter it to suite their own individual styles of design.

WOW!!! The progress the students have made with their designs in 3 lessons is awesome. Everyone is beginning to show their own personality and style. Great effort Taeotu :-)

So far the students have combined shapes, graphics, symbols and type to create their designs (see images below).
