Name Design: Lesson 2 - Design Principles

WALT: To understand how the Design Principles contribute towards creating an effective graphic design.

This week the students are learning about the Principles of Design. They will be using Proximity, Repetition, Alignment and Contrast to help make their designs standout and have that WOW factor. Doing this will improve the quality of their designs and result in more professional looking outcomes.

The creativity of some of the students is already starting to stand out which is exciting to see :-)

The photo's below show the beginning stages of the students designs, where they are learning to use the design principles to help make their shapes look effective.
