WALT: To understand how the
Design Principles contribute towards creating an effective graphic design.
This week the students are learning about the Principles of Design. They will be using
Proximity, Repetition, Alignment and
Contrast to help make their designs standout and have that WOW factor. Doing this will improve the quality of their designs and result in more professional looking outcomes.
Already the students are making awesome progress with using Adobe Illustrator. I love how their creativity is already beginning to shine through in their work :-)
The photo's below show the beginning stages of the students designs, where they are learning to use the design principles to help make their shapes look effective.
I have a good grasp of Design Principles as it was shared in the celebration assembly. Will check in after their next lesson to see how their designs are progressing.
