Welcome to term two 2017 in Graphic Design.

What a lovely start for my new Te Roro o Te Rangi class. All of the students made a great start with exploring the website and setting up Adobe for their first project. I had a very enjoyable first lesson and look forward to working with these students.

This lesson is an introduction to Graphic Design as well as getting started on their Name Design which is their first project for the term.

WALT: Develop a better understanding about what Graphic Design is and become familiar with the Graphic Design Website and Adobe Illustrator.

Inquiry Project: Lesson 3 & 4 - Modify & Evaluate

WALT: Adjust the Inquiry Learning project to achieve a professional standard ready for evaluation and printing.

Students will be evaluating their progress by completing their inquiry project ready for their final self-assessment. They will be assessing 3 key areas which are managing-self, problem solving and their completed design.
Students will then print their designs on their chosen media ready to take home.

WALT: Adjust the Inquiry Learning project to achieve a professional standard ready for evaluation and printing.

Students will be evaluating their progress by completing their inquiry project ready for their final self-assessment. They will be assessing 3 key areas which are managing-self, problem solving and their completed design.
